About the position

In this position you will be part of our global Corporate Technology team and work within the field of Fueling Technology. Your workplace is Herning, Denmark or Vienna, Austria albeit in a sound global context across functions in Corporate Technology and other functions globally. As our new dedicated and skilled Control Engineer you will work on technologies for our next generation fueling stations.

We expect you have in depth knowledge and experience from designing, developing, and implementing control solutions for fluid power actuated systems within wind, oil & gas or similar types of industry involving mechanical / process equipment with functional safety related systems. You will also take part in activities related to developing and testing of new fueling protocols together with our systems engineers and external partners / institutions. Work experience in hardware-in-loop testing using PLC and Micro controllers is expected. Your knowledge of safety & reliability in Industrial automation and Industrial Drive technologies will be put to good use here as well.

Also, as part of the knowledge you bring to the table, you are expected to participate in an ongoing development of new technology and research interacting closely with peers from your department as well as cross functional. Preparing feasibility studies and generate innovative ideas for new research and define models to establish and support building the technology roadmap and future requirements.

You bring experience from working with the bigger picture in both research and technology development meaning you effortless support building the technology roadmap and defining future requirements to the hydrogen industry.

Ideally you hold a master’s degree in data science or mechanical engineering focused on data analysis.

Ideally you hold a master’s degree in data science or mechanical engineering focused on data analysis. On top of this we imagine the ideal candidate bring:

  • Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on product development.
  • Experience with Beckhoff PLC platform and object-oriented software development in structured text.
  • Experience with developing and implementing control technology for fluid power systems.
  • Experience with developing and implementing safety critical software and solutions.
  • Knowledge of software standards for safety certification of Control Systems will be an added advantage.
  • Experience from an international company / working abroad will be an advantage.
  • You are fluent in English, both in writing and verbal.
