About the position

At Nel Hydrogen in Lind, Herning, we are looking for a technical minded person but who has a keen interest in working with the commercial/administrative side of the Service Business.
As a Global Maintenance Engineer at the Nel Hydrogen, you will be responsible for managing our ERP system in terms of as built documentation and planned maintenance, to ensure that we utilize scheduled downtime with appropriate maintenance.
You will also work closely with your colleagues in service operations and product support to give the valuable experience you will gain during your job back to product development.


  • Create and implement maintenance plans.
  • Understanding supplier maintenance recommendation for new and existing products in relation to inspections and required services.
  • Supporting the planning and service team with predefining service orders.
  • Point of contact for the Technology and Development department when it comes to new product introductions and its related service requirements.
  • Structure and lead the component refurbishment program.
  • Develop business cases for different replacement intervals.



Production Engineer, Production Technologist, Mechanical Engineer, Marine Engineer or similar.

Required skills and abilities

  • You hold general maintenance experience from a Service Business.
  • You are independent, flexible and have a personal “drive”.
  • You are, as a person efficient, and knows the importance of quality and punctuality.
  • Very systematic and structured.
  • Good at keeping an overview within multiple systems.
  • Collaborative across the organisation.
  • Manage changing priorities well.
  • Maybe you have knowledge of the service modules in Navision or another ERP system.
  • Communicates fluently in Danish and English, verbally as well as in writing.
