About the position

As an HSE Specialist in the QHSE Department, you will be responsible for the daily operations monitoring and safety support for Nel Hydrogen Fueling Stations in the field as well as the operational safety of our manufacturing site in Herning. Safety is our top priority, to ensure maintenance of a smooth service process with safe working environment, you will also support our colleagues in the field with the required information from government safety regulation. To develop and deploy site specific HSE objectives, programs, and tools to manage risk, to support improvement of industrial operations and to ensure compliance with applicable regulation. You will support and arrange the necessary training for service and installation engineering.
Further you are expected, in the review of safety, risks- and quality requirements, to assess health/safety being manufacture of pressurized Hydrogen Fueling systems, and furthermore you should participate in the safety review of construction, design, and service manuals. The HSE Department is part of QHSE department), and you will refer to HSE Manager.

Qualifications

Required skills and abilities

  • A flexible and motivated collaborator who approaches tasks in a structured and systematic way

  • Openminded and trusting approach with the ability to influence and engage with a wide range of stakeholders, internal and external
  • Robust and persistent when it comes to safety – and not afraid of taking the lead

It will be beneficial if you have:

  • Experience training/Instructing people in new procedures and instructions
  • Fluent or elementary proficiency in a second language like German would be good
