Responsibility and key tasks
- Plan and schedule engineering & manufacturing activities, delivery schedules and purchasing activities according to project requirements
- Assess schedule and resource performance (engineering/construction/ commissioning and start-up progress)
- Support Project Managers in detail with project planning, ie baseline, forecasting, critical path, reporting etc
- Review and validate contractor/vendor schedules
- Participate in Risk Management and Change Management
- Support the maintenance of Nel’s procedures and systems for Project Planning and Scheduling
Qualifications and skills:
- Bachelor level or higher in engineering, economics or similar. Relevant experience can compensate for lack of educational requirements.
- Planning and scheduling in major industrial projects
- Preferably minimum 5 years experience in a similar planning position
- Experience with Primavera P6 / Primavera Risk Manager / Oracle Primavera Cloud
- Good personal skills in communication and collaboration between multicultural teams in a global arena
- Comfortable within a wide variety of functional, commercial and technical discussions
- Good communication skills (both internal and external communication is required)
- Be structured and detail-oriented
- Good language skills in English and Norwegian, written and verbal
- Strong commercial and analytical skills
- Flexible and adaptable to handle changing priorities and new tasks
- Open minded team player with ability to influence, share knowledge and interface with a wide range of teams, disciplines and strategic partners
