About the position

In this position you will be part of our global Corporate Technology team and work within the field of Fueling Technology. Your workplace is Herning, Denmark albeit in a sound global context across functions in Corporate Technology and other functions globally. The Corporate Technology Team today consists of both junior as well as very skilled/senior engineers and comes from several different nationalities.

As our new dedicated and skilled structural analysis specialist you will work on development of next generation components and systems for gas distribution and compressors. We expect you have a in depth knowledge about FEA, structural analysis, optimization and verification of high performing systems and components from a similar or related industry. The function is new and will take the lead on building up core competences within this field in our Technology Team.

Also, as part of the knowledge you bring into play, you participate in ongoing and new technology and research projects interacting closely with peers from your department and cross functional. In this, you run feasibility studies and generate innovative ideas for new research and define models to establish and support building the technology roadmap and future requirements.

From a mere scouting and external point of view, this role will further develop and even bring in new cooperation with universities to anchor and secure we always have state of the art competencies, world-class benchmark, and leading knowledge within your area of responsibility.

You bring experience from working with the bigger picture in both research and technology development meaning you effortless support building the technology roadmap and defining future requirements to make the ends meet, this is indeed where magic happens and we bring even more value to the world.


Ideally you hold a master’s degree (maybe also a PhD) in mechanical engineering or similar. On top of this we imagine the ideal candidate bring:

  • Several years of experience from technology driven company working as a subsystem and system integrator
  • Extensive experience with building complex FE models and running nonlinear analysis
  • Experience with analysis of thin membrane structures
  • Experience with analysis with Fluid Structure Interaction
  • Experience with using ANSYS
  • Experience from an international company/working abroad will be an advantage.
  • You are fluent in English, both in writing and verbal.

What we offer you

For the position in Austria, we offer a gross annual minimum salary of EUR 47.014,24. This minimum salary is based on 38,5h and the collective agreement for employees in the metal industry from 01/01/2022.
