System Modelling and Reliability Specialist



About the position

In this position you will be part of our newly established global corporate technology and work within the field of Fueling Technology in close cooperation with the Fueling Division Product Development. Your workplace is Herning albeit in a sound global context across functions in corporate technology and other functions globally.

We expect you have in depth knowledge and experience from developing virtual models of hydraulics and / or cooling systems focused on improving reliability of components like valves, pumps and more. You are highly motivated by working in-depth in these areas and take strong pride in bringing forward the best possible output from your simulation work.

You will support building and verifying virtual twins to support and improve current system performance and condition monitoring platform. This is most likely driven by your genuine desire and passion for best-practice solutions and challenge the way we work when aiming for the sky in our deliverables to succeed together.

Also, as part of the knowledge you bring into play, you participate in ongoing and new technology and research projects interacting closely with peers from your department and cross functional. In this, you run feasibility studies and generate innovative ideas for new research and define models to establish and support building the technology roadmap and future requirements.

From a mere scouting and external point of view, this role will further develop and even bring in new cooperation with Universities to anchor and secure we always have state of the art competencies, world-class benchmark, and leading knowledge within your area of responsibility.

Ideally you hold a master’s degree (Ph.D. is preferred) in mechanical engineering.

Required skills and abilities

On top of education we imagine the ideal candidate brings:

  • 5 years’ experience from a technology focused company.
  • In depth knowledge and experience with reliability modelling of hydraulic / gas system components.
  • Experience with risk assessments and DFMEA.
  • Extensive experience with developing and verifying virtual models in MatLab.
  • Experience from an internal company / working abroad will be an advantage.
  • Fluently in English, both in writing and verbal.
