Nel is a global, dedicated hydrogen company, delivering optimal solutions to produce, store, and distribute hydrogen from renewable energy. We serve industries, energy, and gas companies with leading hydrogen technology. Our roots date back to 1927, and since then, we have had a proud history of development and continuous improvement of hydrogen technologies. Today, our solutions cover the entire value chain: from hydrogen production technologies to hydrogen fueling stations, enabling industries to transition to green hydrogen, and providing fuel cell electric vehicles with the same fast fueling and long range as fossil-fueled vehicles – without the emissions.
Through the filling of hydrogen into the tank in the car so much frictional heat is buildup during that high-pressure filling process that the hydrogen needs to be cooled down to minus 40 degrees Celsius. As our new Process and Thermal engineer, you will be the expert handling that process both covering new development equipment and for the maintenance of existing.
You will work closely with your colleagues in the System Engineering Team and the rest of the development department. Today the Systems Engineering Team consists of two Electrical Engineers, two Process Engineers and one Mechanical Engineer. A little travel activities must be expected.
You are offered an exciting job working within the rising Hydrogen Technology industry. Working together with other very skilled Engineers, you become a part of the D&E Department and apart from the Systems Engineering Team it consists of: The Hardware Team, the Software Team, the Product Support Team, Project Management, Principal Engineering, and the Test Department.
You should expect to work in an environment where change is part of your everyday life, and where you, with your experience and knowledge, will be able to greatly influence your own work. Nel Hydrogen is sited in Lind near Herning, in state-of-the-art facilities centrally positioned nearby the highway and we offer our employees many benefits.
