Nel is looking for candidates who are passionate about contributing to the green transition and who bring the right skills and experience for the role. The required education depends on the specific position, and details can be found under the ‘Qualifications’ section of each job posting. English is a required language for all positions.

All of our positions are advertised at nelhydrogen.com/careers and applications are received only online. To make sure that we can fully process your application, please attach all requested documents. When we have received your application, the process consists of the following steps:

  1. Submit your application: Apply online and upload your CV. You will receive an email confirming we have received your application.
  2. First interview: The applications will be reviewed continuously, and a Talent Acquisition Specialist may contact you for a short call.
  3. Second interview: Meet with the Hiring Manager to discuss your experience and expectations.
  4. Assessment tests: For some roles, you will be asked to complete online personality and aptitude tests.
  5. Third/Final interview: For candidates progressing further, this is a deeper discussion with the hiring team, possibly including a case or presentation. If needed, a final conversation with key stakeholders for mutual fit.
  6. Reference and background check: Before final selection, we will carry out a mandatory reference and, if required, background check. In the US background checks and drug screens are mandatory.
  7. Job offer and onboarding: The selected candidate will receive a job offer and onboarding details. All candidates who are not chosen will also be notified.
