Lower Flammability Limit (LFL) Detectors

Many coating operations require flammable solvent detection to verify vapors will not jeopardize process safety. Lower flammability limit detectors (LFL) or explosimeters rely on hydrogen fuel gas to operate this sensitive solvent detection. Ironically, many plants source hydrogen from delivered cylinders, storing flammable gas to operate the detection equipment that they are using to maintain site safety. Nel's on-site hydrogen generators keep these facilities free of flammable solvent vapor by providing a safe, reliable LFL fuel gas supply on demand. These generators eliminate the need to store hydrogen for such processes.
