(Oslo, 1st of February 2017) Nel Hydrogen Fueling, a division of Nel ASA (Nel), announced today the launch of a multipurpose hydrogen fueling station, which includes up to three separate dispensers connected to one fueling module.
“We are excited to announce the launch of a new H2Station, a new generation multipurpose hydrogen fueling station, which offers customers a modular, flexible and scalable fueling solution. The station can operate up to three hydrogen dispenser and can fuel hydrogen cars, buses, trucks and forklifts. It also has the world’s most compact footprint and is based on years of R&D and operational experience in the field, where it is renowned for providing high fueling reliability for customers,” says Jørn Rosenlund, Senior Vice President of Nel Hydrogen Fueling.
The new multipurpse H2Station® offers fast fueling with long range, according to international standards. It can also be expanded based on customers’ need for hydrogen, and is prepared for increased hydrogen storages and addition of dispensers when utilization is increased.
Nel is currently in the process of developing a new industrial scale production plant in Denmark with the nameplate capacity, when fully up and running, of around 300 H2Stations® per year.
