Atmospheric Alkaline Electrolyser

485 Nm³/h | 1,047kg/day

Elevate your industrial processes with one of the world's most energy-efficient electrolysers, designed to meet the demands of the future.

  • Unprecedented Efficiency: The A Series boasts a remarkable cell stack power consumption as low as 4.5 kWh/Nm³, setting a new standard for energy efficiency in hydrogen production.
  • Strategic Product Lineup: Responding to market dynamics, Nel has streamlined its product offerings. The A150 and A300 have been retired, leaving the powerhouse A485 as the sole building block for large-scale installations.
  • Scalability Redefined: Combine multiple A485 electrolysers to meet any required production capacity. For instance, the A4000 seamlessly integrates 8 electrolysers, achieving an impressive production capacity of 3880 Nm³/h of hydrogen.
  • Unmatched Safety Standards: Operating at atmospheric pressure, the A Series ensures an exceptionally safe environment. Leakages are highly unlikely, and in the rare case of a leak, the volumes are minimal.
  • Comprehensive System Design: Downstream of gas separator modules, our technology ensures thorough cleaning and cooling of hydrogen before delivery. The gas holder maintains a slight overpressure, serving as a buffer for the compressor.
  • Complete Solution Package: Nel provides a standard package, including the process and safety control system for the atmospheric part of your hydrogen production system.

Your hydrogen production journey deserves the expertise of Nel. While we deliver the standard atmospheric components, our extensive knowledge in hydrogen system design positions us to offer unparalleled engineering support for your specific needs.

Nel: Proven technology, trusted partner.
