As Vice President of Research and Development at Nel Hydrogen US, Kathy Ayers has spent her career exploring the science behind electrolysis.

Her focus today is on proton exchange membrane (PEM) electrolysis, “Only a fraction of the technology’s potential has been realized,” she says.
